The story is called the Perfect Husband, it was sent to me via e-mail, and I got a good laugh out of it.

The Perfect Husband
The story of how one women wishes she got anything but

Every woman’s wish is to find the ‘Perfect’ husband right? If you ever did get a PERFECT husband like I did, you would regret it. Why? Once you read the rest of this story you’ll know.
One morning I was in the kitchen, cooking. I hear the door to our room creak open, and I watch my ‘perfect’ husband Dan come out.
"Do you want me to help cook?" he asks me this every morning.
"No, I’m fine, the food is almost ready anyway." I quickly say, he gave me a smirk. Last time he cooked the fire department showed up, not kidding.
"Alright then." he said sitting down. This usually means I have to let him cook dinner, all we have for dinner is salad, if he ever burnt that I think he’d make a record. He got up and filled a bottle of water for our ‘Baby’ Fred. Fred is a Python,
The story of how we got Fred is just as odd as how weird looking he is, and as much of a mistake as Dan burning breakfast and asking whats wrong with it.
We were at a mall, and the mall was right next to a reptile store (Who does that when building?), I was picking
out a dress for Dan’s Job party. He got a promotion, so we went out to buy some new clothes for the party
(He has been planning for this promotion forever) and I found the most gorgeous , with white
beaded laces over the color, and I decided that it would go perfect with a white Boa (The fluffy kind, not the scaly kind), as I was looking for my wallet to buy the dress, I asked Dan if he could find a white Boa to go with the dress.
Be aware that I wasn’t looking at the direction he went after I asked him to find the Boa, he headed out the door,
If I saw him, I would have stopped him and asked where he was going. So twenty minutes later, I find the
perfect pair of shoes, and I see Dan come rushing over to me (No, I didn’t notice he came from the front door)
saying he found the perfect Boa. I asked where it was, and he said he put it in the car. Nothing came over me as we walked out. As we are driving home (Its a hour ride from the mall to our house), he decided to tell me as we are halfway there that he couldn’t find a white Boa.
"What color did you get then?" I asked him looking at the receipt of the store.
"Brown." I got a disgusted face.
"Brown goes horrible with purple, why’d you get brown?" I asked him looking through my purse.
Before he could answer I looked over to see a receipt of Reptile Planet, and on it it said
Python, I didn’t dare look at the price. My eyes grew wide as we pulled into the house.
"I said Boa! Not Python!" I shouted as I slapped him with the receipt. He got a worried face, he didn’t know I meant
Fluffy Boa, but as they say, if we couldn’t laugh we’d all go insane, so I began cracking up, putting myself in my
own shoes, acting like I had just saw this on TV, and that it wasn’t me. Dan looked at me oddly, how can I go from
slapping him with a receipt to laughing like an idiot? Simple, put yourself in my shoes, I was taught this in Laughing Yoga,
Which really helped keep my stress levels down, that is where I met Dan.
And that is how we got Fred, a five foot escaping machine, and whenever its time for him to eat, I stay at a hotel across the street. But it isn’t as bad as when I have company over.
It was a year after we got Fred, and we where having some company over, my sister Becky, her son Matt,
and Dan’s uncle and aunt Grace and Trevor. As I opened the door to let them in, I saw Matt with a Jurassic
Park toy, and he comes running in roaring, he’s only six. Trevor and Grace sat down in separate chairs, I knew
something happened, Grace wouldn’t talk to Trevor, and in that reason, Trevor refused to talk at all in less
someone talked to him. Matt went straight over to Fred’s cage, and I brought out some finger foods.
Becky started talking right away about her favorite show, LOST. Which whenever she talked about it, we got lost.
As Becky chatted, I tried to pretend like I knew what she was talking about. Grace watches the show too, so we
began a Lost talk. Dan was out getting some beer so he and Trevor could watch some football. As Matt began
banging on Fred’s cage, I asked him to stop. He pointed to the cage and said with a whimper,
"But Fred is…" Becky stopped him.
"Matt, you know you never bother me when I’m talking about LOST." she said seriously. Matt looked down.
As we continued our Lost talk, Matt continually tried to tell us that he saw something, I decided to ask what he saw.
"There is a tail underneath the sofa!" he yelled pointing. Becky looked under her feet, right where the ‘tail’ was.
I looked and Grace looked too. Grace Becky and I jumped onto our seats, shoes and all, as Matt sat there staring.
Trevor had fell asleep, no help to us, and Dan was still out. Becky looked over her shoulder, and screamed
The story cut off, sorry.
and Dan was still out. Becky looked over her shoulder, and screamed and jumped onto the floor. I did the same, and Grace hugged onto her chair for dear life, as we saw Fred’s head,
nothing else but his head, on the head of the sofa, starring at us.
"He was there the entire time?" Grace asked, she was clearly to into Lost to care about her surroundings. Just as Fred began moving onto the seat of the sofa, Dan walked in, and dropped the two boxes of beer he was carrying. He rushed to Fred, and tried to get him back in the cage.
After three hours, Fred was in the cage, the beer was cleaned up, our LOST talk was lost and we had all had enough adventure for a lifetime. All I know for sure is that when a kid say’s they see something under or on top of the sofa your sitting on, its best to ask what they see.

All and all, Dan is a good husband, and even though he has a few snitches, he’s still a not so ‘perfect’ husband, and I’m fine with that.

What do you think of these kids' outfits for a wedding we're going to?

We’re in the Easter holidays (in just under a month). It’s in a church and then we’re going to a big country house. So we won’t be outside much. I have twin 7 year old girls, a 5 year old boy, a 14 month old girl and a 2 month old girl. I’m trying to sort out their outfits. What do you think of these?

The twins want to match (they’re not identical anyway). I usually say no but I might give in this time. What do you think of this dress for them in two colours. I like yellow and pink:

Or this? http://www.bodenusa.com/en-US/Girls-Dresses/33114/Girls-Funky-Print-Dress.html

I have already sorted out my son’s outfit.

For my 1 year old I could layer this over a long-sleeved top and tights. Which colour do you think?

And I like this for my newborn: http://www.bodenusa.com/en-US/Baby-Dresses/73026/Baby-Hotchpotch-Jersey-Dress.html

Or this? Not sure about the colours though… http://www.bodenusa.com/en-US/Baby-Dresses/73027/Baby-Appliqué-Dress.html

I like Boden because I know it’s good quality, I like the clothes and I know they fit my kids.

What do you think? I need your advice as I want to order them this week so they get here in time for me to check they fit etc!

I was really touched by a gift from a complete stranger. My husband and I are expecting our baby boy very soon now. My neighbors down the street asked our landlord if their was anything we needed and she told them that she would see. The neighbors have 5 children and lots of clothes to hand down. I told her we would appreciate anything and to thank them for asking. Today my landlord brought me by the things they sent us and let me tell you. They bought us a brand new infant seat, new clothes, a baby tub, and tons of clothes that her baby has grown out of. I was touched beyond words and started to cry. I have never had a complete stranger be that giving especially since we don’t even know them. My landlord said they are giving people and do that often for others. I just wanted to let everyone know that there are kind and giving people in this world and it makes me want to be more like them. Could anyone give me ways to show them my thanks? Of course I am going to say thank you!
I have a written a thank you letter and am getting a card. My sister owns a bakery and she is going to make a gift basket for the kids. I am so so happy and I am going to invite them for dinner as soon as my baby is here. A family thing with all the kids lol!!

So as some of you may know, my son has finally outgrown his preemie and up to 7 pounds clothing. So all of these outfits are Gymboree, there are 15 outfits 4 onesies and 4 pairs of pants (these are mix and match kind of things.) and 12 preemie sleepers by Caters, 5 pairs of socks, 2 pairs of booties and 3 pairs of crib shoes. I want to list all of these as a lot on ebay.
Oh and they were all bought new they have no stains, tears or holes and they don’t even appear to have been wore but they were a ton after all he just outgrew them this week.
So my question is what is a fair starting bid price and/or buy it now price?

Ladies, when I finally get home I want to try this to wife. Input plz?

My wife loves me to kiss her feet and toes. I want to walk up to her while she’s watching tv, sit on the floor with a bucket of water and towels. Take off her shoes and socks and slowly wash her feet one at a time.(she’s on her feet all day at work). Once i’m done I will dry them, kiss her toes, sprinkle baby powder on her pretty feet and slide her favorite slippers on. Would this be sexy or dumb?

Do I get my baby regular shoes or not yet?

My baby is about to turn 12 months but she isn’t walking yet, she crawls and stands up by herself on me or on the furniture or her crib but hasn’t taken her first steps yet. anyway, I do have shoes for her but I hardly put them on because I heard that it’s not good to put shoes on before they start walk but she is almost getting there. The shoes I had dont’ fit her anymore but I bought her cute little summer outfits and i want to get her matching sandals but I don’t know if I should get them for her because she isn’t walking yet.. and I only put shoes on when we go out not at home.. only when we dress her up lol is it ok to get her regular sandals now?? thanks

Middle School Classy Style Stores?

I’m 14 and am going into 8th grade. A lot of girl’s my age dress more preppy- Hollister, A & F, etc., but I like more classy clothing.

ballet flats
cute skirts
dark jeans
baby doll tops
lace
cute shorts
jewelry-gold, flowers
dressy tops
-all clothing I normally wear. But I add a little funk to it-, interesting jewelry, cute shoes. I like curling my hair (blonde/highlites, fair skin, blue eyes), and I do wear a little makeup-but I don’t cake it on like many of the girls do.

We are going school clothes shopping tonight, and could you please give me some stores that would fit the dressy/classy/stylish/trendy look, but not totally break the bank?

I live on a farm, so I don’t want these to be stores where their clothing rips the second you get close to nature/chickens/gardens, like A & F’s do. Good quality, please.

Thanks!
Regarding farm thing: I just mean I have a little walk to the bus stop, so any shoes should be able to hold up.

Where do you buy your baby's clothing?

I’m pregnant with boy/girl twins and I’ve been shopping around for clothing for them. I’ve gotten clothes mostly in 3-6, 6-9, and 12 months simply because I know I’ll get plenty of preemie, newborn, and 0-3 months at my shower next week.

What I’ve noticed is that it’s really hard to find cute clothes for BOYS, but girl clothes are easy to find. Where do you get your baby clothes?

Color of baby clothing and gender?

I’m mother of a lovely little girl, and I’m six months pregnant with her younger brother. I’m in the process of going through her infant clothes and sorting out little dresses etc, which don’t seem quite suitable for a boy. Now, it had happened several times to me, that my little girl was dressed in a bright pink skirt and people still asked me ‘What is HIS name?’/'How old is HE?’. So I start wondering, if people despite of pink skirts refer to any child as a boy anyways, do I really need to bother sorting out/dying pink onesies, t-shirts etc. just because he is a boy? Or would it be really odd dressing a boy in e.g. a pink t-shirt and blue trousers? (Just to make it clear: I’m not planning to put him in dresses or skirts.)
