For my shower my friend got a laundry basket, lined it with bright issue paper and filled with clothes, soaps, towels… was on of my best gifts. You never can have too many baskets, and it was fun to open.

I always "wrap" my baby shower gifts in an inexpensive wicker basket. It makes for a wonderful presentation and the basket makes a nice laundry hamper for the new baby.

I once put a baby blanket in a small laundry basket and put the gifts in the basket with the blanket hanging over the sides. The mother said that was different and didn’t even think about needing a laundry basket just for the baby’s stuff. Some people don’t like to wash baby items with other items because they use a different soap. Also she made comment to me later that with all the unwrapping that she had to do it really saved time during the shower.

Start scrounging for coupons for baby items and handy cleaning supplies(clorox wipes, all free and clear laundry detergent). Try and get coupons w/ the farthest away expiration date you can. Buy a box w/ a lid and tape the coupons onto the box and put the clothes in the box and a ribbon on the teddy bear neck. Set the box and the bear together on the gift table, have the bear hold the box or sit right on top of it. Or go to the crafts store and get a giant plastic baby bottle(usually they are banks as well) and put the clothes into it. Or turn an old box into a "stroller" w/ cardboard wheels and put the clothes under the bear as padding. Good luck!

Use a beautiful baby blanket, and wrap it all up in a bundle inside the blanket. Secure it with a large, strong rubber band, and affix a small baby toy with the rubber band (if it’s a small teddy bear, the rubber band will be hidden by the bear’s fur.) Then add a little curly ribbon and you’re done!

You can wrap the gift in a baby blanket or crib blanket & tie with a big fabric ribbon.

I just gave a baby gift (an outfit, and a teddy bear) and zipped them inside a fabric diaper stacker,
A friend put all clothes and a set of towels inside a lined cane basket.

Put an outfit on the teddy bear and put a big bow on the bear. The rest of the clothes can go in a gift bag, then stick the bear in the bag half way so it looks really cute!

Get a gift bag, some white tissue paper, and decorate the tissue paper with some markers :-) You can personalize it with names of the parents, or of the baby if they chose a name already! Or if you’re not artistic, you can make dots with the markers and then if you add some water, the marker will bleed and look really pretty! Oh, and tie a bow around the teddy! :-)
